New Features Coming Soon: Elevating the AI Demand Letter Workflow with More AI

More AI Demand Letter Features

As we approach settlement season, we are excited to announce more significant enhancements to our AI Demand Letter(SM) workflows coming this summer. This upcoming release introduces several new features, including more auto-populating fields based on user data input. One of these new integrations involves accessing data such as ICD codes (9 and 10) as well as jury instructions from every county in the United States. These new features are designed to streamline the demand letter creation process, enhance accuracy, and reduce the time spent on manual data entry.

The Power of Auto-Populating Fields

One of the most time-consuming aspects of drafting demand letters is manually entering repetitive information. Our latest auto-populating features are here to change that. With this update, as you input data into the workflow, related fields will automatically populate with relevant information. This includes injury details, jury instructions regarding prior infirm conditions or pre-existing injuries, duties under duress and loss of enjoyment factors, and more.

For instance, when you enter the type of injury or treatment, the system will recognize related fields and fill them in with the appropriate information, in a format that is known to trigger insurance AI. This not only saves time but also ensures consistency across the demand letter, and maximum settlement offers from insurance adjusters. By reducing the amount of manual data entry required, legal professionals can focus more on strategy and less on administrative tasks.

ICD Code Integration in Demand Letters

A standout component of this release is the integration of ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes. These codes are critical for accurately documenting injuries and treatments in medical records, and they play a significant role in software claims evaluation as injuries and treatment are the number one value driver for maximum settlement offers. However, obtaining and matching the correct ICD codes can often be a challenge for personal injury law firms and support staff.

With our new feature, when you input injury details, the system will automatically suggest corresponding ICD codes. If a user can’t locate the codes in the medical records, they are prompted to use one of the many free forms available exclusively to Settlement Intelligence subscribers, to quickly request these codes from treating physicians, and ensure you aren’t leaving any money on the table in negotiations.

AI Notification of Missing ICD Codes in Demand Letters

One of the most innovative aspects of this update is our system's ability to identify missing or non-corresponding ICD codes. If the entered injuries do not match any ICD codes, or if there are missing codes for certain diagnoses, the AI will notify you promptly. This proactive feature allows you to address these gaps early in the process, ensuring that you retrieve the necessary codes from the treating physicians before finalizing the demand letter.

Imagine you are drafting a demand letter for a client with multiple injuries. As you enter each injury, the system will check for corresponding ICD codes. If any injury lacks a proper ICD code, you will receive a notification highlighting the specific fields that need attention. This way, you can ensure that all necessary medical documentation is in place, enhancing the credibility and completeness of your demand letter, and ensuring maximum settlement value for that injury.

Enhancing Efficiency and Accuracy

These new features are designed with one primary goal in mind: to make the demand letter process more efficient and accurate. By automating repetitive tasks and providing proactive notifications, we aim to reduce the administrative burden on legal professionals. This allows you to dedicate more time to case strategy and client interaction.

The integration of ICD codes ensures that your demand letters are not only accurate but also aligned with medical and insurance industry standards. This can be particularly advantageous during negotiations, as well-documented and medically precise demand letters can lead to more favorable settlements.
